I bought this to run 3 XLR mics into a modeling guitar amp for band practice vocals. I thought the button in the back was a power button but it isn’t. There isn’t one anywhere so if it’s plugged in it will be on. Not a huge deal as I just plugged it into a switched plug adapter. Just thought it was a strange design choice. Either way, it works great and does what I bought it to do. I can’t comment on all the MP3, USB, playback etc. features, but if you’re just looking for an inexpensive way to run vocals, this is a great choice.

I purchased this mixing board to teach online fitness classes during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. The micro USB port on the back of the mixing board broke in less than 5 months. I had to hold the cable in a certain position or the board would immediately disconnect and lose power. I did try multiple cables, so I know that it isn’t a faulty cable, and you can feel the port wiggle when the cable is plugged in. It seems that others have complained of this same issue. This mixing board came with a card in the box stating that “this product is promised for two years quality warranty from the date of purchase when the defect occurs under correctly operation according to the user manual.” Therefore, I contacted Amazon support per the instructions in my order, and after bouncing me to two different representatives, they told me that I had to contact the seller. I contacted the seller only to receive the response that “This product is delivered by Amazon. You need to contact Amazon Customer Service Center to replace it with a new one. They will help you solve your problem.” I went back to Amazon Customer Service only to be bounced between three representatives – the second of which told me that the best she could do was refund the purchase price minus a 20% restocking fee, and I still had to go through the hassle of boxing up and returning the item. She refused to replace the item under warranty or waive the restocking fee since “the return window had closed.” I told her that I wasn’t “returning” the mixing board but requesting a replacement under the warranty since this product is clearly defective. In the midst of processing the return/partial refund, I was disconnected from that representative, and when I reconnected the new representative agreed to process a replacement request (even though the last representative had said it wasn’t possible). I still have to ship back the faulty board. I’m guessing they are going to just refurbish this faulty board and sell it again. In fact, I’m wondering if this “new” board I purchased was actually a refurbished one. This whole process has taken more than two hours and has been very disappointing. I am a Prime member, and I expected much better from Amazon. Honestly, I am taking the replacement as I need it for a class I have to teach in two days and I already know how to set it up and set my volume levels, but overall I would not recommend this product or this seller.

I can only blame myself, knowing that I only spent $50 on this, but it has a background “crackle” that drives me insane. Needless to say it will work for what I am using it for (elementary students making a podcast) but I am bummed about the crackle.

This powered my mic wonderfully and with a separate dongle it connected to my laptop seamlessly. Wonderful for the price. If it breaks I’ll buy the same one again just out of how easy everything was. Sound quality is good enough to pick up the smallest squeeks so starting to record and realizing you have a tiny bastard rodent in your walls actually saved me way more than they might ever know… Crazy value.

It works and does everything its supposed to do but if you need silence its not for you cuz just loud static white noise constantly. I changed it out for a different one and the static is gone, changed back and static again all same cords plug-ins and instraments/mic and power.
